About 406-K9!
Hi- I’m Natalie, a professional dog trainer and behavior enthusiast based out of Helena, Montana. I am dedicated to helping dog’s and their owners build strong, trusting relationships that are rooted in science backed methods. I earned my bachelors degree in Anthrozoology (the study of human and animal interactions), am a certified public and therapy dog trainer through ASCTI (American Society of Canine Trainers International), and am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Canine Developmental Science!
My journey began with a love for dogs that inspired me to become a volunteer puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind. I was able to witness the beautiful partnership that comes from consistent and dedicated training. The love that I had for dogs quickly turned into a passion, which led me to Carroll College. Not only did I earn my degree, but I spent countless hours training with different dogs- most notably a hospital facility dog that I fully trained over the course of two years.
These experiences combined inevitably led me to launch this business. At 406-K9, our mission is simple: help dogs reach their full potential through personalized science based training.
